How do I allow the computor to open some email attachments that it currently wont open. (Jokes etc). It says to go to My Computor, Click on View, then 'Folder Options' -which I've done, but which button should then be clicked 'on' to allow emails to open? Do you need to be running publisher in some instances - for some reason publisher wont run on my computor. Thank you.

It's probably related to your systems (browser) security settings (agreed). So what
browser and version are you referring too?

No it's not enough really. But I will assume you're using IE 6.0, which includes
your OE e-mail program.

Open Tools/Options/Security Tab, then uncheck the box that says 'Do not allow attachments
to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus. You should be running an
anti-virus program and keep it updated before doing this! Even though you know the
sender, this is how virus' are spread.

JmC Thanks for your advice, but I cant quite follow it. I presume your referring to the Security Tab under the Tools option in the Outlook (Email) program? When I go to Tools/Option/Security Tab, there is no option to unclick 'do not allow attachments to be saved....etc etc..'. Under my Security Tab there are only 2 options. Entitled 'Security Zone' and 'Secure Mail'. Neither option seems to relate to what your advicing. I Appreciate your help, but don't worry - its such a little issue - I can live with it ! P.
