I have a question about Prevent file corruption problems...how do I scan disk when it continues to refer to corrupt file? I am not able to locate this file, therefore am not able to defrag... ;-(

There is no such file as corrupt file, if that's what you're asking! What is the corrupt file that's mentioned in the message you get? You need to clarify what's going on.

If you continually have problems running Scandisk in Windows, exit Windows and try 
using the DOS version of Scandisk. To do this, click Start/Shutdown/Restart in MS-DOS 
mode. When you get to the DOS prompt C:\>, type scandisk and press enter.
