Most things should be self explanatory in their names. Delete items to see what happens. Save (write down) what they were if you need to put them back again. Run regedit from the start menu. If it doesn't work, download and run HighJackThis. You can post the results on their help/support forum or Here'sWhatToDelete. I struggled with the hijacking and those two application worked for me. I was going to try HiJack This next, but my system was cured and so I never tried that one.
