Question about 'Add and Remove items from the ''Send To'' menu'

I have a question about Add and Remove items from the "Send To" menu:

I'm having the same problem. The only thing in my 'Send To' menu is 'Send To'. Was working fine a week or so ago. Can anyone give me some advice on what might fix this? Thanks, Sam

It's simple. go into Windows Explorer and navigate to your windows main folder. Inside, there is a folder called Send To. Any folder that you drag and drop into Send To will become a destination for Send To when you select it. That can be a drive letter, any folder, or the desktop. Inside the same windows folder is another folder named Desktop. This is where all of the desktop items (minus the standard My Computer, Network Neighborhood, and Recycle Bin which are system folders) are located. You can also right click on a folder and select copy, then paste it into Send To. It works the same way. As for why you have lost all of the send to destination points, I couldn't tell you. Have you installed anything new? Performed any operations that you haven't before?

One correction to my last. When you copy a folder, paste the shortcut, not just paste. The last time I did this the folder I pasted was empty. I just added a backup download folder I have on one of my partitions (contents entire size = 3.8GB). Don't need the same 3.8GB stored twice on the same hard drive. Well, I guess I learned something myself.

I'm sorry! With the amount of info I left, it's a wonder anyone answered at all. All of my items are in the 'SendTo' folder in Windows. I can take them all out, put them all back put new ones in, etc and all it will say on my right click 'Send To' menu is 'Send To'. I have added some software for working with video but it's been a while and I'm sure it was working after that. It's almost like it's lost the path of what it is supposed to say...oh that's interesting! I use Powerdesk as a file manager, so while I was typing this in I had a thought and opened up Windows Explorer and it works fine in there. Must just be a problem in Powerdesk! Sometimes I will find a little quirk in it like that but sure didn't suspect it on this one. Thanks for you help and maybe someone has had it happen to them also! Sam

I also see Windows explorer Sendto populated and nothing in the PowerDesk SendTo. It was linked to the same file a week ago. Did the original poster ever find out what the problem with powerDesk was? That's what I'd like to fix.

Easyupdate and v-com doesn't provide this update. Where is this located?
