my start menu does not pop up.i could only use it by right click even ctrl-esc does
not work

Sounds like your mouse is set for a left handed person--check the control panel settings
for your mouse--how about the "Windows Key" does that pop up the start menu???

ok so i don;t have a start menue at all. like the bar at the bottom nothin. the
alt space does not work the only code that works is ctr alt delete which brings me
to windows task manager. i am on a laptop.. please help

Certain worms can produce this.
However, have you tried CTRL-ESC
to bring up the start menu?,
then Settings,
then Task Bar & Start Menu and check to make sure the Auto Hide
is not checked...
