Att Isp

I hope not very many people use ATT as a Provider. I have tried to contact my niece
and am told that I am a Spammer. My niece also told me that other people can't mail
her because of the ATT Spam Blocker. They have given me no satisfaction. They say
they contact the Administrator and of course I have none being a single user on a
home computer. I am sure they have a glitch in the software as my niece turned spamblocker
off and still???? ATT said I was banned from mailing to any att.net account. So much
for the big well known providers.

I have had one email address for years. The company has changed hands. I now get
the response from some
prviders that my mail server is a spamming one and they won't let the message through.
Don't use that adress to send with any more but still receive with it. My normal
isp
(earthlink) lets you check blocked mail and if you find
one that is legit you can add that address to your address book and it will come
right through the next time. Must
be added to isp web mail address book.

Contact your ISP about your problem and have them deal with it. You are not the spammer
it is your ISP's e-mail server that is being peged as the spammer.

Sorry to say, I don't know anyone who has used ATT and not had a complaint, (but
in all fairness, the complaints have been about billing). My advice is to check
the big ISP names, because if they aren't in your area, they should be. Try this
link http://thelist.internet.com/ to see if there are any other providers. One last
piece of advice is to try http://www.emailaddresses.com/, and find a web mail account.
That way, you can change ISPs like gas stations, and they'll have to get their spam/billing/services
in order so they'll stay in business. You'll be able to have an email account that
won't change no matter what your ISP does.
Good Luck
Phil

Thanks for the reply. The only providers in my area is the local phone company. No
aol, att, msn thank goodness, they all leave a lot to be desired. No Juno or Netzero
either. I did forget that I have Netscape which I really don't use, but I think I
have a web base account in it. I will check out the sites that you suggested. Thanks
again.
