Could anyone tell me what kind o software should I use to turn OFF mu PC at low network activity ? Please help. I would like to use this again with wake on lan utility. Thanks a lot !

Not sure about this, but don't you have to do this in the bios? It's a motherboard 
thing I believe.

Go into BIOS; under Power Management, there should be an option to set Wake On LAN. Actually, this facility caused me a bit of a scare after I installed an Ethernet card; I work nights and it was more than a little disconcerting to get home at 6:15am to discover my PC was on! I thought at first there'd been a power cut, as that had the same effect once power was restored, but my alarm clock was still showing the right time. It wasn't until I remembered about WOL that I realised why it was happening - when I first built my PC I didn't have a network card, so WOL wasn't an issue then. I prefer it disabled, but to each his own.
As to turning a PC off in response to low network activity...well, I think it can be done, but I'm not sure how. Try Google.
