I have a question about What
to Throw Away:

Hi, Recently, I was given a used pc which had been updated to Windows 98 from Windows 95. I am getting rid of stuff i don't need on it, and I remember seeing somewhere on some utility, words to this effect: "Windows95 is still on your pc's hard drive and is occupying a great amount of space. If you are sure you are not going to revert to the previous Windows version. these files should be deleted....". Could anyone provide the name of the utility? I have looked in add/delete programs, version incompatability wizards, etc for hours. but have yet to find the tool again. Thanks for taking the time to read this. Derek

Do a File Find on W95undo.dat and W95undo.ini and delete them manually. Edit/select all...File/delete.

This is a backup folder with your installation files and system files, in most cases this is in one folder. Its better to do a clean install, updating I would still delete the previous version or you can use a utility to knock these crap files as I call them!
