If you can get to the startup menu by holding down the control key after you start
up the computer, pick the "start with a command prompt" which is C:>. Then type
in "Scanreg /restore" without the quotation marks and make sure there's a space after
the "g". Then pick a previous date from among those indicated which would have been
before you downloaded a program that caused this error message.
