There's nothing you can do about that. You might try configuring your computer's BIOS for slow startup. That would normally just be a more exhaustive memory test. This might give your monitor time to warm up. The only other option is to replace the monitor with an LCD screen. I don't suppose there is such a thing as a normal monitor that doesn't automatically shut off anymore.. oh well, it's not too important, I just thought I migtht as well try.
