Changing any old icon is easy enough, but i can't seem to figure out how to get rid
of those bland folders. How do I change these?

Hi;
There are some programs that can do this but I always found they had drawbacks.
My method is to call the folder with a shortcut in the calling location, like the
Desktop. You already know how to change Icons on shortcuts.

There are programs to change folder icons. I have a couple of them. don't remember
where I got them or where they are at this time, but if you search with Google you
should be able to find something. I have never found a good one to change the folders
in Start, Programs on 98. On XP it isn't a problem. Good luck and have fun!
