Filename problem using multiple languages

Hi All!!!

I use both English Windows and Brazilian Windows. The problem I have is when I create a file whose name use some Portuguese special characters. Both versions of Windows can do that with no problem. However, they are unable to read a filename that was created with the other version created. The problem seems to be with the ~ accented characters.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot!!!

Walfredo

I have the same problem with English and French Windows.

The only solution that will work universally is to avoid those non-english characters.

Are both installations using the same code page?

Which keyboard are you using?
