ZoneAlarm is the best and cheapest way to prevent outgoing traffic, it allows you
to control what programs have access to the internet. With ZoneAlarm, you always
know what you send out of your computer. Without it, your computer is pretty much
wide open to anyone who wants to get into it. If you don't want to use a firewall,
you can pretty much assume anything and everything is being sent out, no need to
monitor.
