Internet traffic monitor

Could anyone tell me if there is a simple, small program (that does not interfere too much with the operating system) which monitors what is going out of my computer during an internet session? Basically I would like to be able to obtain a list of the things/files/information etc., that have been sent out of my computer during any one session. I have used Zone Alarm before, but I am not after a fire wall type program, which interferes with almost everything and does way too many unnecessary things, but a simplified program. Simply a small output data controller, which is light on resourcess. I have Windows 98 SE and a 56k dial-up connection. Thank you, Eli

ZoneAlarm is the best and cheapest way to prevent outgoing traffic, it allows you to control what programs have access to the internet. With ZoneAlarm, you always know what you send out of your computer. Without it, your computer is pretty much wide open to anyone who wants to get into it. If you don't want to use a firewall, you can pretty much assume anything and everything is being sent out, no need to monitor.
