Hi JM,
I'm not one of the knowledgeable forum people, but it seems to me that Carol posted
Major Geeks as an alternate site on which to update Cool Web Search Shredder. It
seems that SpywareInfo was affected by the denial of service bug. I hope this helps.

Hi Smokey,
I know I'm just a beginner at this, but I think you're wrong about the CWS Chronicles.
Merijn who wrote the CWS Shredder has his own site now and the Chronicles are just
an explanation of the CWS variants. You can check it out at
http://www.merijn.org/cwschronicles.html

They were DOS'ed last week, from his newsletter.
SpywareInfo, TomCoyote.org and merijn.org disappeared last week. This is due to a
colossal, ongoing distributed denial of service attack. Several thousand trojaned
PCs are throwing millions of HTTP GET requests at our server. The attacker is very
determined to keep these sites off the net. Every time we filter out the attack,
thousand of new machines join in. For now, the server is firewalled and all traffic
is being null routed.

Thanks James, I know in the "end" y'all will win out. At least we know "great work"
does get noticed.
