I had the same problem myself, and I hope I just solved it. I got some USB support from the homepage of the mainboardproducer (epox in my case). Go to your producer's homepage, look for technical support and the download section. I was on the German homepage and there the file was called 'VIA USB-Filtertreiber 1.10', so it should be called something like 'filterdriver' in English. Good luck...
