I have a question about Change
a file association on the fly:
I want to change the file association so that I can open the file as a .zip file
and unzip it's contents. Reason has it that all my ZIP files open in Notepad. is
it possible?

You can't just change a file association and expect it to open with a program other
than what it was designed for.
