You probably are then - Low on resources- What have you got? Hard Drive space? Memory?
Also what else do you have open when trying to load Word?
To find what you have go to My Computer Right Click, click Properties ,click Performance.
If you want to analise your computer more fully use Sandra software at www.sisoftware.net
-its free for basic .

The memory on ur computer is low and microsoft work requires lot of memory. The system
resources should always be more than 80 or 90%. U can right click on my computer--Properites---Performance.
There u can check ur system resources. To free resources follow this procedure--Click
start--run--msconfig
2. Choose selective startup--go to startup tab on he last and uncheck all items which
are not needed to start at the beginning. Click on apply and ok, restart your computer
and check ur resources again. Microsoft work would definitely work.
