I have a comment about Get Rid of the Logon Screen:

I tried all of these different suggestions and when one worked, I just managed to create another popup I couldn't get rid of (network logon). I suggest IGNORING the network / windows logon change as that is what gave me the headache. What fixed my problem is just going to the control panel / passwords icon (user profiles tab) and changing my settings by clicking the radio button next to "All users of this computer use the same preferences and desktop settings." This fixed it right away. I had backup up my registry so when I couldn't fix the other popups these suggestions created, I just restored it to the original problem then fixed it this way. Thanks and no thanks for your help! Todd
