My Sys.resources are 46%! Is this typical of Me Problems

I have a question about Windows
says it's "Dangerously Low on System Resources":
Is 46% a typical experience others have had with windows Me or do I have a bigger
problem? Does any one know? I have closed down almost every thing I can in the applications
box, but I am still about 60%. Could this be why my internet is so slow too?

This is the Win98 forum. But W98 also gets low on resources

Obtain, install, update, and then run Ad-Aware SE to get rid of all the spyware.
Get Spyblaster to keep from getting new spyware. Then after that, use MSCONFIG
to look at everything that starts with the boot-up and get rid of the unnecessary
clutter.

Melissa, ME is a whole different story from 98, so you should have posted on the
ME forum. Check out Jack's web page for suggestions and useful information. He's
a regular helper on the ME forum.
