Cleaning Mouse

I hae a Logitech mouse and it has blue ink stains on it which I cannot get off with soap and water. The ink got on there from my hand which I got, in turn, from an ink pen. Any suggestions on getting off the ink?

I have a Logitech Mouse and it has ink stains on in from my hand which in turn got it from an ink pen - How do I remove the ink stains- they are blue- from the mouse? Soap & water doesn't do it.

try a little w-d40 or a dab of gun cleaning fluid--if all else fails trash the mouse-and go to your local thrift shop..they should have a few laying around for 20 0r 30cents..

The best method depends on the type of ink.

If it is water-based, it may be possible to remove it
with a little undiluted dish-washing detergent, followed
by a wipe with a damp rag.

If the ink is oil-based, first try rubbing the stain with a
little vegetable oil on a soft cloth. If this does the trick,
finish by wiping off the oil with detergent and a soft
damp cloth.

Only use spirit-based solvents as a last resort as these
may not only set the ink further, but also damage
the plastic of the mouse.
