I have a question about Print Out a Directory Listing:

I have just started a new job which has a lot of precident files on the hard drive. I would like to know how to print a list of the files and folders in the directories so I can check them off as I go along. The Operating System is Windows 98, the processing is Word 2000, no CD burner...3.25" drive, at home I have Windows XP, CD burner and 3.25" drive. The computer I work with has no (yet!) Internet access so how do I do it? I just want a printed (hard) copy of what is on "My Computer". As I said, I just started a new job and the computer is a mess. Karen Kenworthy has a tool called Directory Printer. "Print the names, and other 
information, of all folders and files on your computer."

Dealing with Unwanted Spyware and Parasites

I use a little easy-to-use program called rjh extensions which I acquired as freeware 
a while back. With this you can customise what you want added to the right-click 
(context) menu. I have it so that I can easily just right click in a folder and save 
the text file of the list of everything in that folder. 
There are about 5 or 6 other options too, including an encryption one, and like I 
say, it's very easy to use.

Thanks for the information, I will try downloading the program and hope it helps me. It sounds like just what I was looking for!

Just downloaded and installed Karen's Directory Printer and it does exactly!!! what I wanted and needed, Thank you so much, Jacquie
