I have installed windows 98 yesterday. But when I play a song the message comes upon
me "cannot play back the stream: no audio hardware is available, or the hardware
is not responding". When I play any song in Windows xp it will play the song. guide
me about this problem

Start button - run - type dxdiag - do the tests - look for problems.
Dbl-click the System icon in the control panel - click the device manager tab - look
for error flags.
