I've downloaded all kinds of "freeware" to remove this (aboutblankbuddy etc) only
to find you have to pay. Is there a freeby since Adaware doesnt remove it? Thanks

There are so many variants of this crap, you're better off posting on a forum that
specializes in Malware removal. If you run a search on this forum (options below)
for ABOUT BLANK, you should find links to several of them.
Here's a recent free removal for some variants: About:Buster 5.0
Note, the tool must be run while in Safe Mode!
