I have a question about My
Taskbar has disappeared - how do I get it back?: My minimize &maximize icons
disappeared, so if I minimize, I can't retrieve. Also, my taskbar came back to the
bottom, but the only icon on it is internet explorer. How do I get a full task bar?

If your display related problems have started very recently, try restoring the registry
just prior to the date it occurred.
- Boot while holding the CTRL key to enter the boot menu.
- Select the COMMAND PROMPT ONLY option and press enter.
- From the C:\> prompt, type SCANREG /RESTORE and press enter.
- When the restore screen appears, select a backup dated before this problem
occurred and then restart the system. (A properly working registry has the word
'Started' next to the date)
