Single Mouse Key to open files within a folder

When in a folder and I want to open a file I always get the option of opening, or
a long list of other options, and all I want to to do is open the file.

Is there a way for me to do this? Thanks, Dewey

Don't right-click it.
The standard way to Open a file is to double-click it with the Left button.
