Question about 'Prevent New Users From Logging In'

I have a question about Prevent
New Users From Logging In:

I have downloaded & run the 'shutdown.exe' application. I had just one user account (so I would just press enter when the Network login box appeared), and no password. My intention was to load the application, then set a password for the account. However, it will now not let me into Windows at all. Whatever I do it briefly displays the desktop, then returns to the Network login box. I have accessed the PC from another machine & renamed the application files, but it still finds the app & runs it at login. Any ideas? The email link in the readme.txt file does not work. Many thanks Ian
