I have a question about Help!
My application doesn't work with or crashes Windows:
I have windows 98 , everything runs normal when i boot up. The problem is that once
I get on line and off line and begin using the cursor my computer locks up. It may
happen when I have been on line for a while or a few minutes.I did go to misconfi
and take the check mark out of load start up group and it seem to last a little longer
before it lock up again, but after a while it continues to do the same. How can I
find this solve this problem?

Calvin,
Go back to Msconfig and uncheck everything in the start-up except Explorer and Systray
then run Scandisk, Thorough, Automaticaly fix errors. This could take some time if
you do not use regularly. But first, Open internet options, clear everything in Cookies,
Temp Internet files, including offline content (checkbox), and history. You need
to shut down and reboot after msconfig changes so do the other first.
When computer gets to desktop, go to Start>run, in the "open" box, type Scandisk,
click Ok. Run the Thorough option and let it finish. When finished, shutdown and
restart your computer. Now do the same for Defrag. Write down any errors or messages
you see (details Please) on either process. Post back with results.
