What is it you are downloading, from where? Look up the term you are using. And
look up "installing", then if you are not a software pirate, try describing what
you are doing more accurately. It sounds here as if you are using a pirate web site
to steal a copy of MS' property.

Defining terms and paying the price

You "install" a program, including an operating system, the first time you put it
on a PC; you do not call this procedure "downloading". After an operating system
has been installed, and you are starting the computer, which is referred to as "Booting
up", there is a point at which the OS does "LOAD" itself into system memory. But
this operation also is never referred to as "downloading".
If your PC is giving you trouble, and you would like to learn how to solve the problem,
membership in the Forums is free. But there is a COST you are expected to
pay if you hope for answers. You have to actually describe the problem, and the
software, and the hardware, that is involved, in some detail. Any error messages
generated should be included, in the EXACT words that were used.
Should your message happen to be long, such as going past four or five sentences,
you should add all of the normal punctuation, paragraph breaks, and formatting that
you would when writing a business letter. (No IM type gibberish, please.) Then,
near the bottom of the forum's composition page, put IN the check mark to "Preserve
Spacing".
