hello, i've done some research about internet explorer, and now i know the risks
associated with it on my comp. my question is, can i uninstall the browser? does
internet explorer come with an uninstaller, or could i download a remover utility.
and what if i delete it's folder in programfiles, and other extensions/files, will
this work?

cheers in advance!

Not enough, however.

Killing it off completely is unnecessary.
Simply configure your software firewall to block it.

You are confusing wisdom with fanaticism. (I have been there.)
This is called "cutting off your nose to spite your face".
The M$ HTML rendering engine is part of IE
and is used by several (poorly crafted) apps.

You will likely come to miss it at the most inopportune time.

|does internet explorer come with an uninstaller ?
|
Nope. Its components are tightly wrapped around the entrails of Windoze.

|or could i download a remover utility.
|
If you are bound and determined. See "spite your face" (above).

|what if i delete [its] folder in programfiles, and other extensions/files ?
|
See "tightly wrapped" (above).
