New Ad-Aware available today

Ad-Aware Free is quite popular on this forum. I did an Ad-Aware update this afternoon
but it did not offer the new program. That's OK. Ad-Aware 2007 Free is 14 MB. I
prefer to get something that large thru a download manager in case of a disconnection.
When I updated Spybot I noticed it had a mirror, SecurityWonks.net. I had never
been to their site and it has some interesting things including 3 online scans, a
new defrag program for my Win2K partition, and a registry optimizer for Win98 (I

I said they had 3 online scans and it was a 14 MB download. I read carelessly.
It's a 17 MB download and they have more than that:
Spyware/Adware Scanners
- Pest Scan Online
- Doxdesk Parasite Detector
- Spywareinfo XScan
Online Trojan Scanners
- GFI Trojan Scan
- Sygate Security Scan
Online Virus Scanners
- Panda Active Scan
- Bitdefender Online Scan
- Trend Micro Online Scan
- McAfee Free Scan
- Symantec Security Check
- eTrust Antivirus Web Scanner
All available elsewhere, of course, but they've gathered them into one spot. Their
statement of purpose is:
SecurityWonks.net is a growing Free & Open Source software development & download
website, with the increasing collection of Free Software & Open Source code and applications
available on the Internet. SecurityWonks.net provides free services to Free Software
& Open Source Developers.

After over a month of suffering through the "A new version of the Update Manager
is available" endless loops (on all of my NT systems), I've decided that Ad-Aware
2007 is not for (my) Windows 2000/XP systems either :^þ , and I've gone back to Ad-Aware
SE....
