Okay y'all.. here's another one for ya.. My cousin called me tonight asking how to fix the colors on her computer. I went through all the settings and display stuff with her, and asked her to try adjusting the monitor with the buttons on it.. She says that her pictures that she's scanned are odd colors.. like her son's face is yellow, his shirt is showing up grey, and they are all blurry.. any suggestions that I might be able to relate to her to try.. I don't know how they print out, as she hadn't tried that yet to see if they come out normal or discolored.. any help will be greatly appreciated.. thanks bunches.. M

If only the pictures she is scanning are coming out with odd colors, then she either
has bad/corrupt drivers for the scanner or the scanner is bad. Images sensors in
the scanners, or the light source can go bad and cause the problem. If everything
on the monitor is off color, then there are other problems.

Irfanview is a very user friendly picture editor with great color adjustment. It has allowed me to buy some cheapie cameras that were discounted because no one wanted them because of the lousy results. Of course I spent a lot of time correcting each picture but I had more money than time. Even with my rather good Kodak I find it helps on a sunny day picture to knock off 7% of the blue. Anyway ver 4.00 is out and it works great on Win98:
