OS: win98 a colleague connected a thumb drive on my pc. it auto-copied 3 files on my folder: MS-Dos Mode for Games.pif, folder.htt, & desktop.ini now every folder that i open has these 3 files. it just keep auto-copying itself. what are those files anyway? why the auto-copy? i kept on deleting them but the next time i open a folder, the files are pasted again. it is spreading and i dont like it. i have some shared folders and those connected to it now also have the said 3 files? what shall i do? i ran anti-virus, spyware, negative. need inputs.. please! thank you.

This is not normal operation. I would do a full virus and spyware check.
