When opening outlook 2000 the pc frezzes, hour glass is fixed, outlook never opens. I press ctrl/Alt/Delete and I get the error message "system resources dangerously low. close programs and try again" I always have to power down to recover, but am never able to get into outlook. can some one help resolve this problem. Every other program I open never causes this problem. thanks

Then I would start up the computer and once its started up close down everything 
so you can see your desktop and press Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up Task Manager so you 
can see what is running in the background. Write these filenames in a text file and 
post them back here. I bet you have 10-15 names in the Task list.

You haven't said how much memory your computer has? Just right-click on My Computer 
and read the bottom line RAM.
