outlook express will not let me open any e-mails with an attatachment. it says (oe
removed access to the following unsafe attatchments in your e-mail). i have never
had problems with this before. any ideas as to how to open them. thanks tim.

More than likely your ISP Spam Blocker is preventing OE from open attatchments.
Check with your ISP.
If these are attatchments you are expecting from someone you know, be sure to put
the sender's eMalil address in your address book.
If unexpected Thank your ISP for preventing you from doing something stupid.
Unexpected eMail with Attachments is one of the major sources of infecting your System
with Virus' and other Malware.

Have you tried this?
On the outlook Express page click on tools at top, select options, select security
tab. Make sure that the item "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened ...etc"
is unchecked. See if it solves the problem.
