Sound on game sounds distorted

I have 5 computer games on my computer that have sound. The sound sounds perfect in all of them except for one game, which you cannot understand what the character in the game is saying. It sounds very distorted. So I put this game on another computer and it sounded fine too. Can anyone please tell me why one game sounds fine on one computer and not on another especially when the sound seems fine on both computers. Thanks in advance, Grace :-)

Has that game ever worked? What was done in between working and not? Maybe uninstalling the game and reinstalling will clear problem. Good luck.

I was having alot of problems like that with mp3's and mpg's. I found that going into my volume control and lowering the WAVE volume cleared it up. Hope that helps! franks and beans, timm On Fri, 8 Jun, 2001 - 2:53, Grace wrote:
