When I visit the windows update site and download an update, it downloads successfully, but does not install, after reboot as it should.I have a list of files that I chose to delete when virus scan could not clean them,Likely one of these is the culprit ,any ideas on which one. So far all else ok. Thanks!

That list of files you deleted and other details would help.
