in 5 years i've never had any problem printing a web page, but recently all i've been getting is a small amount of nonsense top left of the printed sheet. it also shows that way on print preview! anyone else had this?

If you have no other printing problems the I would run the IE5 repair tool under control panel>add/remove programs. Reloading or updating your printer drivers might help, wont hurt. On Sat, 9 Jun, 2001 - 9:39, roy wrote:

My HP printer can get goofed up printing some web pages. My cure is to reset the printer by pulling the electrical plug.

I have done the same thing with my Lexmark printer. It used to work fine under Windows 95, also works with Me. However, I have to switch it off/on before I print with Windows 98 or else it will just go through the motions to print without actually printing anything.
