I have a question about I get a 'File not found' message when I try to start any program:

- TYPE YOUR MESSAGE HERE -there is aerror in my start menue,file not found and cannot find file for DLL TO open program is there any way i can restore my computer and windows98 back to it's origenal format? i tryed to reistall windows 98 cd but it won't compleate the insallation ,and i'am losing more and more programs.can u please help me. thanks

its hard to say without actually seeing the machine, but it sounds like a dying harddrive or maybe a virus.

I am having a similar problem! I can't open up any .exe files because it says that the program cnrwghlcdfjse.exe can't be found! Help me as well!

When I start my computer, there is a message coming some DLL file is missing. The computer boots up okay. When I close, most of the time the screen freezes, and I have to reboot again. I tried to run tjhe Windows 98 CD set up and it is not going through. What can I do to avoid the freezing problem? Thanks in advance for any useful suggestion. - Iengar
