I have a question about Speed up system restart:

During startup: I receive error on line 12;hit any key to continue;then I get error on line 13;hit any key to continue. How can I remove this?

Error in line 12 of what? Error in line 13 of what? Knowing where the error is will help in fixing it.

Start by rebooting machine and hold cntrl key down until the boot menu comes up. Then choose step by step choice and answer yes to each question and see where the problem lies ehen it hangs. It will more than likely be on config.sys or autoexec.bat statement and needs to be edited out if not needed any more. Good luck.

click start choose run.....type "sysedit". no quotes. In the window you will see 5 smaller ones......go to the one that says config.sys and remove the lines. better yet just put "rem", no quotes, at the beginning of the lines u want to remove. geesh........
