I have a question about What to Throw Away:

In this article, mention is made of using the "Tune-up Wizard" for cleaning up uninstallation files. Where is this program located in win 98 or if not, where might I obtain it from? Many, many thanks.

If you go into win 98 help and search for "Update Wizard Uninstall" there is a link that will take you there. Mine said no packages avail.

Start > Programs > Accessories > System tools > Maintenance wizard > Custom > Next > Next > No do not Defrag > Next > No do not Scan, etc. > Next > Yes delete unnecessary files> Settings > scroll to windows 98 temp files > Finish wizard prompts, etc.
