On startup my computer says that msatrib.exe is missing. That file contained a virus so i deleted it. Is that file important?what does it do?How can I get another copy or how can i remove the references to it. Thank you Bruce Anderson.

Hmm... I just reinstalled windows. It taught me one thing - No matter how bad your virus is, at least you still have Windows...

The file doesn't exist on my computer, so I can only assume that it is a left over virus file. Start Registry Editor (Start/Run and type regedit) and under the Edit tab, click find, and try searching the registry for leftover remnants of msatrib. Also, Start/Run and type msconfig. Under the Startup tab, check for references of it there. If there are references to it in msconfig/Startup, you can find them in the registry here: hklm/software/microsoft/windows/current version/Run hkcu/software/microsoft/windows/current version/Run
