Office XP supports MDI (that is, the ability to launch documents within its own interface.)
The article pertained to Office 2000.
About the patch: It worked great, just place it in your Startup folder. One minor
bug, because it is a template, word treats it like a file, upon closing, you have
to right-click each instance of the file to close Word. You can still exit Word (File-->Exit)..
