you say that the trick doesnt work with Word.. well, i'm using Office XP, and it works fine in Word.

Office XP supports MDI (that is, the ability to launch documents within its own interface.) The article pertained to Office 2000. About the patch: It worked great, just place it in your Startup folder. One minor bug, because it is a template, word treats it like a file, upon closing, you have to right-click each instance of the file to close Word. You can still exit Word (File-->Exit)..
