Question about 'Make one of those Keen DOS Startup Menus' Saturday, November 3, 2001 at 8:02 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Steve (4 messages posted) I have a question about Make one of those Keen DOS Startup Menus: I am running Windows ME, and as for making up "one of those keen DOS startup menus", I have found it impossible! Windows ME seems to completely bypass the Autoexec.bat and config.sys files, so anything that is referenced in them will NOT be loaded! AND, Windows ME doesn't support booting to Ms-Dos anyway. I would really like to know if it would be possible to somehow boot to DOS without resorting to a boot floppy, and how to utilize the config.sys and autoexec.bat files again.
