Question about 'Uninstalling Windows' Thursday, November 8, 2001 at 2:20 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by bo nonn (30 messages posted) I have a question about Uninstalling Windows: My laptop came with Windows ME preinstalled, and it's been no end of trouble - constant lockups and worse. I want to replace Windows ME with a copy of Win 98 (upgrade) that I have on hand. Since Win ME was preinstalled, it doesn't give me the option of uninstalling it. What is the least troublesome way to switch over?
