Explorer has caused an error in OLE32.DLL Sunday, December 9, 2001 at 7:58 pm Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Kyle (1 messages posted) Hopefully someone will be able to help me with a very frustrating problem. Windows ME loads fine for me and everything works at first, but after awhile (time varies from 1 minute to a half hour) everything freezes up and I get an error message saying "Explorer has caused an error in OLE32.DLL. Explorer will now close. If you continue to experience problems, try restarting your computer." I have scanned my computer with antivirus software (no virus was found) and I ran ScanDisk and Defrag. However, the problem persists. Anyone know what is going on?
