IFor Windows Millennium users you can either try tweaking the options of the EXE/COM file or make a startup disk. I recommend attempting the try the former first, then the latter. To change the options of an EXE or COM file. Right click on the icon and left click on Properties. First of all click on Program at the top and tick the box "Prevent MS-DOS programs from detecting Windows". Click on the memory tab at the top and you can change the amount of Expanded memory in there. I recommend about 4096, which should be okay for most games. The program usually indicates how much it needs however. Click on OK at the bottom to save the changes and try running the game again. if it doesn't let you adjust the expanded memory support in a WinME Dos Box, it’s probably because EMM386.EXE can’t load without help. You should explicitly tell WinME where in upper memory to place the page frame. This is done by adding an EmmPageFrame= statement in the c:\Windows\SYSTEM.INI file under [386Enh]. This can be easily accomplished using the msconfig utility installed with WinME. If you are unfamiliar configuring upper memory, or don’t have access to a good analysis tool, you might try one of the following common settings... EmmPageFrame=D000 EmmPageFrame=E000 EmmPageFrame=C400 EmmPageFrame=C800
