bad file name Monday, April 1, 2002 at 8:53 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Wendy (1 messages posted) When turning my computer on, I get a message on my desktop that says "Bad File Name/Long File Name" and tells me to click on OK. I don't know what/where this came from. I had a virus last week on my computer that I have since fixed and since then this message appears when I boot my system up.
