Thank you Linda, a very through explanation. The trouble is I would like to keep the start bar open, as I often have very many programs open at a time, and it saves steps moving back and forth. I sure wish Window would fix this bug. Your method is most helpful though and I am sure others will find is very useful. Puter Tutor
