Sunday, September 8, 2002 at 7:52 am Windows Me Annoyances Discussion Forum Posted by Ev (59 messages posted) hey everyone :o) i must say it has been a little while. no problems right now, but i am seeking some "upgrade" suggestions for a computer that i am buying from someone i work with. this is an older model (though i'm not sure exactly how old) of Dell's Dimensions XPS M200s according to it's properties, it only has about 1.99mb of RAM and based on what i've been able to find out, it only takes a max-capacity of 64mb. (which is actually ok) Windows 98 is already installed, it's internet ready with a 56K modem. anyway, if someone out there knows a little something more about this "type" of system, could you give me some feed back? i'm really more interested in having this "one" computer to do video editing and surfing along with word etc. can i reformat this system and install th software that i already have: Windows ME? i'm not sure about video or graphics cards it seems to have soundblaster card intsalled and it actually loads faster than the Dimension 4300 that i currently have. so....any experiences with this system? thanks Responses to this message: re: this one is lengthy...
