You can get a utility product like McAfee Quick Clean that will delete unnecessary files for you. You can also tell it to delete old files and it will bring up a list of potential files you can delete. You can review the list and decide what which files you actually want to delete. The product performs other functions like tracking application installations and helping you back out of them cleanly. I find it a useful product for about 30 bucks. Hope this helps.
